Choosing event visuals: hologram fans, projection mapping or LED lighting?

Give one message a focal point

A trade show booth and a gala ballroom ask different things of a display. At a booth, your logo or product needs a clear focal point. Across a ballroom, the visual treatment may need to support the atmosphere without competing with speakers. Before choosing equipment, decide whether your priority is a branded focal point, a room transformation or an entrance guests will remember.

3D hologram fan displays use spinning LED blades to create visuals that appear to float in mid-air. They are a useful option for logos, product renders and sponsor recognition. Keep the creative focused: one strong visual is easier to understand than a crowded loop of competing messages. Share your logo and the intended viewing location when discussing the setup.

Think about the whole room

Projection mapping places motion graphics onto walls, stages and architectural features. Instead of adding another screen, it makes the surface part of the event. It suits a coordinated room theme, an award reveal or a conference stage. The venue matters as much as the animation: available surfaces, ambient light and projector placement all shape the result.

Wireless LED tubes add color and accents around booths, stages and architectural details. LED walkthrough archways create a distinct entrance. These options can complement a main display rather than compete with it. Choose a shared color palette and identify which element should lead each moment of the event.

Match the setup to your venue

Send the event location, guest count, floor plan and schedule before settling on a combination. Confirm power, clear walking paths and the viewing angle with the production team.
